SHOW NOTES: S01E06, "The Room"
This week we're so excited to welcome our second guest, Anita Flores! Anita has produced and starred in videos for Buzzfeed, Univision, and Pride.com. She hosts a monthly comedy show called Party of Two and is currently on Tour with Awkward Sex and the City. She also hosts a podcast called "I'm Listening," in which she explores different themes and pivotal moments from the show Frasier with a different guest each episode. Listen and subscribe here!
Anita is also the only (live) person we know who has ridden in the back of the hearse—and she has photographic evidence. Check out that red velvet interior.
Curious about Ed O. Ross's "smokeshow of a headshot"? This is the picture Caroline was looking at—it's actually a still from the 1988 movie "Red Heat." We all wanted to off him in our game of Fuck/Marry/Kill, but... this photo is making it hard.
We've got three songs for you this week. First is the song we think of whenever we see David talking to Tracy Montrose Blair: "My Girlfriend Who Lives in Canada" from the Broadway hit Avenue Q.
Secondly, if you'd like to be—as Jenna put it—"like someone who was cool in the 70s," here's "Spooky" by Classic IV.
And lastly, if you'd like to dance like Richard Jenkins (and who wouldn't want to dance like Richard Jenkins??), here's "Journey to the Center of the Mind" by the Amboy Dukes. Enjoy your rooms, everyone.
